Privacy Policy
Last updated:
The privacy of your data — and it is your data, not ours — matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect and why, how it is handled, and your rights over it. We do not sell your data, and never will.
This service ("Adlensa") is operated by S.O. SIRIUSONE TECH LIMITED, a company incorporated in the Republic of Cyprus (registration no. HE 447061), registered office at Anexartisias & Athinon, 79 Nora Court, 5th floor, Flat/Office 501, 3040 Limassol, Cyprus ("we", "us", "our"). For the purposes of the EU General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR"), we are the data controller for personal data processed through Adlensa.
What we collect and why
Our guiding principle is to collect only what we need.
Identity & access. When you sign up, we ask for identifying information such as your name, email address, and optionally a company name. This is so we can create and personalize your account and send you invoices, service updates, and other essential information. We will never sell your personal information.
Billing information. When you subscribe to a paid plan or buy credits, our payment processor (Stripe) collects your card details and billing address to charge you, calculate any applicable tax, and issue invoices. Card details are passed directly to Stripe and never touch our servers. We store a record of each transaction — including the last four digits of the card and the billing address at the time — for account history, invoicing, and billing support.
Usage & product data. We record how you use Adlensa — the competitors you scan, searches you run, and actions you take in the product — to provide the service, apply your plan limits and credits, improve the product, and support you.
Geolocation / access logs. We log access to accounts by IP address so we can verify that no unauthorized access has occurred and detect abuse (including multiple accounts created to bypass free limits). We keep login/access data while your account is active. IP address is one factor we may use to flag possible misuse; it is never the sole basis for an automated block.
Website interactions & analytics. When you visit our website, your browser shares certain information such as your operating system, browser version, the pages you view, page-load timing, and the referring site. We use this for statistics such as conversion rates and to test designs. Where you have given the necessary consent, these analytics may be tied to your IP address and, if you are signed in, your account. See "Cookies and tracking" below.
Advertising attribution. Where you have given advertising consent, we collect advertising identifiers and parameters (such as Google click identifiers, Meta click identifiers, and UTM parameters) to measure the effectiveness of our marketing and, where applicable, report conversions back to advertising platforms (Google and Meta). Retention of these identifiers is limited and configurable — see "Data retention" below.
Voluntary correspondence. When you contact support or submit feedback, a bug report, or a survey response, we keep that correspondence (including your email) so we have a history to reference if you reach out again.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect characteristics of protected classifications (such as age, race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, or disability), and we do not collect biometric data. You may volunteer such information (for example, a pronoun in your email signature), but we do not request or require it.
The data Adlensa returns about advertising
Adlensa surfaces information about the advertising activity of companies (such as ads they run across platforms including Google, Meta, LinkedIn and TikTok). This data is gathered from publicly available sources through a third-party data provider's API (see "Third parties and subprocessors"). This advertising data is about businesses and their public advertising, and is provided to you for competitive analysis. Your use of that data is subject to our Terms of Service.
When we access or share your information
Our default is not to access your information. We access or share it only in these cases:
- To provide the service you requested. We use third-party services (subprocessors) to run Adlensa and process personal data only as necessary. No human on our team looks at your data for this purpose unless an automated process fails and manual intervention is required — a rare case we work to avoid.
- To help you troubleshoot or fix a bug.
- To protect Adlensa — reviewing logs and metadata to keep the service and your data secure, including abuse investigations.
- When required by applicable law — we share data only when compelled by a legally binding order from a competent authority. Where lawfully permitted, we will notify you of such requests.
- Business transfer. If SiriusOne is involved in a merger, acquisition, or asset sale affecting Adlensa, we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
Third parties and subprocessors
We use trusted third parties to operate Adlensa, including (among others): Stripe (payments), Resend (transactional and marketing email), our data provider SearchApi (collection of publicly available advertising data via API), and analytics/advertising tools (such as Google Analytics and Meta), used subject to your consent. A Data Processing Agreement covering these subprocessors is available (see our DPA).
Cookies and tracking
We use first-party cookies to store preferences, make the product easier to use, and support in-house analytics. Subject to your consent, we and our partners (such as Google and Meta) may use cookies and similar technologies to measure marketing effectiveness. You can manage cookies in your browser settings. A consent banner lets you accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies; essential cookies required to run the service are always active. We use Google Consent Mode v2 to respect your choices before analytics and advertising tags load.
Your rights (GDPR and equivalent)
We apply the same data rights to all users regardless of location. Under the GDPR (and comparable laws) you have the right to: be informed about the data we collect; access your data; correct it; request erasure ("right to be forgotten"); restrict or object to processing; data portability; not be subject to solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects; and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
Many of these can be exercised by signing in and updating your account. For other requests, contact privacy@adlensa.com. We will verify your identity (using information already on file, such as your account email) before acting on requests to access or delete personal data.
If you are in the EU/EEA, your supervisory authority in Cyprus is the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection (or the authority in your own country of residence).
Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described here. Account data (name, email, billing records, usage history) is retained while your account is active and, after closure, for legitimate purposes such as tax compliance and fraud prevention. Advertising identifiers (such as click IDs) are retained for up to 90 days, consistent with advertising attribution windows. Web analytics tied to individual identifiers are anonymized after 30 days. When you request deletion, we remove account-level data within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations; backups are purged on their normal rotation cycle.
How we secure your data
Data is encrypted in transit (SSL/TLS) between our servers and your browser, and backups are encrypted. We take reasonable measures to secure data at rest and limit internal access.
What happens when you cancel
When you cancel, your access ends at the end of the billing period. Account-level data is retained for the legitimate purposes above; you can request full deletion by contacting privacy@adlensa.com, and we will delete it within 30 days of your request, subject to legal obligations.
Location of data and international transfers
Adlensa is operated by a Cyprus (EU) company. Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA (for example, to a subprocessor located elsewhere), we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses. We rely on Standard Contractual Clauses and, where applicable, adequacy decisions.
Changes & questions
We may update this policy to reflect legal requirements or new practices. Significant changes will be announced on our website. Questions? Email privacy@adlensa.com.
